The annual Perugia International Journalism Festival is the leading journalism event in Italy. It is an open invitation to listen to and network with the best of world journalism. The leitmotiv is one of informality and accessibility, designed to appeal to journalists, journalism students and those interested in the role of the media in society. Simultaneous translation into English and Italian is provided. The festival is open to the public free of charge.

Media140 is an independent global movement creating unique multimedia events to consider the future of the real-time web. This year it focuses on Twitter but also looks at other real-time platforms that are now beginning to affect business, the media, advertising, entertainment and marketing.Different Media140 events are planned across the world – in India, the Middle East, South Africa and then in Perugia on 23rd of April 2010 during the Internation Festival of Journalism. It will be the first event of its kind in Italy.

Terni and Amelia will host the exhibition "Piermatteo d'Amelia e il Rinascimento nell'Umbria Meridionale" which comprises works of one of the greatest painter of Umbria's Reinassence.
